From Velana to Kihaadhoo

Carpe Diem Beach Boutique & Spa is located on Kihaadhoo Island in Baa Atoll, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Once you arrive in the Maldives, there are three ways to continue your journey: by seaplane, domestic flight or speedboat.

Our reservations team can help you choose the most suitable option based on your international flight times and arrange the necessary transfers.

Speedboat

Travel from Malé to Kihaadhoo Island by speedboat, with a journey time of approximately 2½ hours, depending on weather and sea conditions. Our reservations team can arrange this transfer through an independent speedboat operator.

Enjoy views of turquoise lagoons and scattered islands on a shared Manta Air seaplane flight from Velana International Airport. You will land at the Amilla seaplane platform, where our team will meet you for a short boat transfer to Kihaadhoo Island. We also arrange your return boat transfer to the platform.

Fly with Maldivian Airlines from Velana International Airport to Dharavandhoo Airport in Baa Atoll. Our team will welcome you at the airport and escort you to the jetty for your speedboat transfer to Kihaadhoo Island. We also arrange your return speedboat transfer to Dharavandhoo.

Domestic flights can be a convenient alternative when your international flight does not connect with a daylight seaplane service.

Transfers are charged separately unless included in your booked package. For late arrivals or early departures, please check transfer options with us before confirming your international flights.

All journey times are approximate and exclude check-in, boarding and waiting time. Services are subject to availability, weather and operating schedules.

Seaplane flights, domestic flights and the speedboat service from Malé are operated by independent providers. If your journey is disrupted, our team will help coordinate revised transfer arrangements with the relevant operator.
